This detached cottage is at the north west corner of the Peak District, at the end of a drive on a quiet road. It has recently been fully renovated and provides character accommodation with many period features. You enter the cottage into the fully and well equipped kitchen including a small breakfast table for two. A door leads through to the long lounge, the windows have garden views, the room being split in two by the staircase – at the beginning of the room is the dining / occasional study area. To the far end the lounge is seating in front of the cosy gritstone fireplace with inset log burning stove. The stairs lead to the two bedrooms, to your left the second bedroom has two single beds. At the other end of the landing the main bedroom has a double bed. The good sized bathroom has a roll-top bath with shower over, toilet and hand basin. The secluded garden runs the full length of the property and beyond, and is laid to lawn with a tree back drop

About the owner
We moved to Whaley Bridge in 1999 because we loved the area so much. We lived in the cottage for ten years, and after having two children, decided we needed a bigger place for them to grow. We still live locally, and have a thorough knowledge of places to go and things to do in the area. We’re more than happy to share this knowledge and our love of the area.
